Slackwater Brewing was born from a love story - not just between its founders, Liam and Kelsey Peyton, but a love for craft beer, outdoor adventure, and genuine moments shared with friends. In 2014, what started as a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, exploring rivers and craft breweries from Washington to California transformed from a dream into a bold vision. By June 2019, this vision materialized into a stunning two-story taproom and production facility in Penticton, breathing new life into a former nightclub after nine months of passionate renovation. While originally conceived as an intimate brewpub, Slackwater demonstrated its resilience and adaptability when the pandemic struck, pivoting swiftly to become a successful wholesale brand that never lost sight of its core values: exceptional craft beer, outdoor spirit, and authentic connections.
